A Day in the Life
Reporting to the Senior EMEA Customer Marketing Manager, the Principal Customer Marketing Specialist is responsible for leading the Diabetes EMEA Customer Portfolio Experience (CPE) and raising awareness for it amongst EMEA, as well as maximizing the adoption and usage of services amongst HealthCare Professionals (HCPs), both physicians and nurses.
CPE is one of the major diabetes strategies aimed at providing the right experience to the right customer at the right time, showcasing the power of Medtronic Diabetes’ holistic offering of products and services to HCPs through the Europe, Middle East and Africa region (EMEA).
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
* Lead and further develop the vision and strategy for CPE, including messages that resonate with all HCP segments, and propose and pilot a clear KOL and account approach (e.g., efficiency clinics).
* Drive internal awareness and adoption of the CPE mindset, as well as awareness and promotion of services; manage the EMEA CPE core team as well as the relationship with services leads and country ambassadors.
* Drive external awareness and adoption of CPE and services amongst HCPs through our various channels, and work with our creative agency to develop external HCP campaigns.
* Identify and track qualitative (testimonial) and quantitative KPIs to measure the positive impact and benefits of services for HCPs and PwDs and share it internally and externally to foster adoption and usage of services.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing
* 5+ years’ experience in marketing, preferably in customer marketing or market development
* Experience working with fast consumer goods
* Strong project management skills
* Ability to develop successful marketing initiatives, campaigns, and assets with creative agencies
* Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
* Excellent spoken & written English skills
* Travel requirement: < 25%
* Experience with diabetes, dealing with HCPs, and a second European language will be a plus
