Job Purpose:
The primary point of contact for the accounts department, responsible for maintaining sales, purchase, and nominal ledger accounts, and assisting with banking activities. Possesses a strong understanding of material and labour cost analysis, and adept at conducting variance analysis of overheads.
Key Duties
* Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities
* Cost analysis including materials, labour, overheads, inventory, product costing and pricing.
* Assist in Bank and Petty cash reconciliations.
* Monitor and report departmental overhead variance analysis against Budget/Forecast.
* Assisting in month-end process
Skills and Attributes:
* Good numeracy skills and competent in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word. Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular.
* Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail and strong time management skills.
* Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.
* Excellent Communication Skills at any levels.
* Reliable, flexible and able to work on own initiative.
