Solenis are recruiting We are pleased to go to market for a new field-based Water Treatment Service Technician. This is a full-time, permanent field-based role covering the Derbyshire, West Midlands and Shropshire regions. As a Water Treatment Service Technician, you will be customer focused, and results driven. You will strive to expand market sales across our key manufacturing customers across sectors including metal treatment, plastics, food and agricultural. You will draw upon your previous water treatment experience to act as technical support, account manage and develop sales within a number of core customers within the food and beverage, metal processing and general manufacturing sectors. You will also look to identify new manufacturing customers across these regions, where you will promote and grow the Solenis brand and our product offerings. What you be doing as a Water Treatment Service Technician The management of industrial water treatment applications, including the routine testing of our customers cooling and boiler water treatment applications on your designated sites. Handling and answering technical queries from customers Developing sales with existing customers Promote and grow the Solenis brand and our product offerings. What you’ll bring Extensive account management experience with a bachelor’s degree in chemical, chemistry, general engineering or a science related subject. Technical experience in the Water treatment, Legionella Risk Assessing or Water Hygiene industry is a distinct advantage. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a true service attitude. This is a field-based role and frequent travel will be required. The successful candidate must have a valid full driving license.
