An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Project Manager to provide support towards the mobilisation of a new contract on a fixed-term basis for 12 months. This role will mainly be home-based, with occasional travel to UK-based offices (most frequently to the M4 corridor).,
* Meet with internal and external customers to agree project milestones.
* Work with customers and suppliers to define the scope of projects or tasks.
* Plan timescales, costs and the resources needed.
* Gain project or Change approval from the Project Management Office.
* Liaise with staff at all levels of a client organisation.
* Define software, hardware and network requirements with the assistance of IT architects and technical team members.
* Prioritise tasks and resources to achieve delivery.
* Develop agreed solutions and implement new systems.
* Present solutions in written or oral reports.
* Help customers with change-management activities.
* Prepare documentation and present progress reports to customers.
* Be involved in sales and support.
* Travel to customer sites.
* Be responsible for internal and external project reporting.
* Manage and report on project/task budget.
* Liaise where required with the Group PMO team.
* Manage delivery of projects/tasks through temporary/disparate project teams.

* Previous experience of government contracts.
The successful candidate will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes. These documents may include your passport, driver's license, utility bill (dated in the last 3 months), HMRC letter, original bank statements, an original payslip, your birth certificate, or a valid share code. Please note that this role requires SC clearance which means you must have lived in the UK consecutively for the last 5 years. The role does not qualify for a visa under the current Government guidelines therefore to be considered for this role you must already have the right to work in the UK. Relocation costs will not be granted. You must live within reasonable commuting distance of the site.
