Job Title: Highways Maintenance Engineer
Salary: up to £37,068 (plus Market forces of £3500 per annum, see advert text for info).
Hours: 35 weekly hours

The Role
Worcestershire County Council is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic Highways Maintenance Engineer to develop and deliver an exciting range of major infrastructure projects. You’ll be working in our friendly and knowledgeable Local Works team who will support your development and get the most from your experience of highway construction techniques. Using your sound technical and practical problem-solving skills, you’ll be keeping our roads safe by assessing and delivering great highways maintenance. You’ll be advising other team members, going out on site visits, and liaising with other talented technicians to deliver a range of highways maintenance activities.
You may on occasion be working out-of-hours for which you will be paid, and you’ll be part of making a difference for the people of Worcestershire by supporting major incidents such as severe weather events.
