We currently have a new opportunity for a Studio Assistant Cleaning Coordinator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer-focused individual to join Nuserve, the first B Corp approved cleaning supplier in the UK for our Sustainable Family Run cleaning Business.
The successful candidate will support the Account Manager in the operational management of the cleaning contracts across a large site with multiple clients, maximizing the performance of cleaning teams and ensuring the service is operated safely, hygienically, and to contractual specifications.
Role Responsibilities
* Liaise daily with Cleaning Manager on all site and staff matters.
* Ensure the operation is managed in line with company standards, policies, and procedures.
* Maintain efficient and accurate records for quality and cost control.
* Communicate effectively with site and customers, both via email and verbal communication, to achieve team goals.
* Document client requests in detail to support the account manager in maintaining payroll and accounts with each client.
* Have full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials, and chemicals, supervising their use.
* Be involved in the recruitment, induction training, development, and training of staff.
* Support the identification of training needs and ensure accurate site records are maintained at all times.
* Ensure that all team members are familiar with and adhere to the Company's Health and Safety Policy and Procedures, COSHH, cleaning methods, and Site Specific Procedures.
* Conduct regular cleaning audits and ensure that any issues highlighted are addressed appropriately.
* Ensure that the teams have appropriate assistance as required. You may be expected to undertake any cleaning tasks as needed.
* Identify new business opportunities and raise these with the Accounts Manager.
Minimum Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
* Proven experience in leading or supervising a team of 10 or more employees.
* Strong communication and people management skills.
* IT literacy with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
* Excellent timekeeping, organization, planning, and scheduling skills.
* Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to maintain and develop client relationships.
* Self-motivation.
Desirables (Not Essential)
* A background in the cleaning sector.
* Understanding of various cleaning approaches and methods.
* Industry acumen and knowledge of external cleaning developments and innovations.
* Full UK driving license.
* Experience working in a Film or TV-based environment.
