We are looking for enthusiastic and committed Support Workers to provide care and support to those who access our day opportunities at the Park View building in Solihull.
Park View offers specialist services for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, for older people and those with Dementia.
This is a permanent role working 30 hours per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday.
As a Support Worker you will make a real difference, enriching the lives of our service users by organising activities and delivering day opportunities which enables them to make full use of their local community. You will help to develop their independence and promote individual choice and social inclusion.
You will work alongside a highly dedicated and enthusiastic team, providing emotional, social and personal support to individuals and groups.

* Completed QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care or be willing to undertake necessary training/apprenticeship within 12 months.
* Experience of working with people with a learning disability, physical disability, dementia, or older people.
* Demonstrable good practice which promotes choice, independence, and self-advocacy.
* The ability to adapt and respond to the constantly changing needs of a group of diverse people whilst demonstrating patience and understanding.
* The ability to demonstrate sensitivity whilst supporting individuals with their personal care needs.
* Experience of working effectively as a team member, and with colleagues/other professionals.
