JOB PURPOSE
To run our busy businesses & manage the BOH & FOH team to deliver the best service, food, drink & accommodation for our guests. Motivating and training the whole team to our high standards is key.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Oversee and manage the kitchen team, supported by the Head Chef, so that they are motivated and prepared to deliver the best quality food in our pubs safely and to our standards.
2. Manage the FOH team with the support of the Assistant Manager and shift supervisors (where applicable). Ensuring all team members are trained & motivated to deliver their role.
3. Communicate and work well with the team to ensure the delivery of great quality food, drink and service to our guests.
4. Deal with guest queries and complaints quickly and professionally (i.e. allergen information).
5. Reporting into the business owners (at Director level), teach, guide and manage the team with the support of the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure the FOH team is menu and service cycle trained.
6. Manage the balance of responsibilities around the business, from preparing and publishing the rotas, to understanding and managing your budget and ensuring your labour spend is in line whilst delivering excellent service.
7. At the start of each shift, review bookings and brief the team, ensuring all areas of the business are prepared.
8. Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the kitchen is running smoothly and that our menu is delivered to the highest standards.
9. Develop your management and motivational skills, encouraging questions and learning throughout the shift.
10. Resolve any guest complaints, issues or conflicts, striving to train your team to manage complaints and issues for consistent service.
11. Work closely with your Head Chef to source, develop & cost your menu to ensure it reflects our quality standards.
12. Be responsible for the smooth running of the business, with the support of the directors and your team. A performance-based bonus will be available & agreed at the start of your employment.

3. Set up and close down the business to our standards. Complete daily and weekly business checks. Keep up to date with current promotions and new products.
4. Work safely with the team and report any maintenance issues to directors. Complete all appropriate company documentation, due diligence records and key tasks on every shift.
5. Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training, online eLearning and workbooks.
6. Always adhere to all brand standards, company policies and procedures.
7. Carry out management team requests and brand instructions.
