Senior IT Technician - Migration

6 month Fixed Term Contract
£35,000 - 40,000 - Pro rata
This is a great opportunity for a highly skilled Senior IT Technician to gain on-the-job training with a clear path to grow and develop within a vastly expanding IT team. An initial six months with the review to extend and help role out the migration across the other sites.
This company is currently rapidly expanding and has a reputation within the industry as being one of the largest independent family dairies. They are in the fortunate position of being able to expand, and are now actively looking for an experienced member of the team that can help with their migration.
Within this role, you will begin working top assist the IT department to provide migration of the legacy IT Systems, hardware, delivering this project in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will have a high-level knowledge and use of to Office 365, including Microsoft Teams, high level Excel skills and telephony systems, advanced Macro & Visual Basic programming abilities. This experience can be gained through the possession of a professional qualification in accordance with the position held, a relevant degree, or management qualification whilst demonstrating two years of experience..

The Role:
1. Assist the Management Team in developing and delivering timely, accurate and meaningful management reports using our ICT software.
2. Assist in the development and keep up to date the Company's ICT policies including risk strategy and implement any associated staff training requirements.
3. Fault find across network, printer, desktop & laptops, and associated infrastructure.
4. Monitor the network: keeping hardware fault-free, maintaining supplies and resolving issues in a timely manner.
5. Help train the finance team during the migration.
6. Office-based, Monday to Friday.
The Person:
7. Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience of various software programmes, including but not limited to Office 365, including Microsoft Teams, high level Excel skills and telephony systems.
8. Exposure to SQL, VB, C#, Cloud Platforms or Database Services.
9. A Strong communicator with the ability to influence at all levels, developing sustainable internal & external relationships providing excellent customer service.
10. The individual will drive improvements in the quality of SQL databases.
11. Commutable to Tewkesbury.
