Platform Engineer £37,000 per annum Hemel Hempstead, HP2 4XH - Hybrid (3 days in the office) We are currently recruiting for a Platform Engineer to manage and optimise Azure cloud services, ensuring high availability, performance and security. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our Azure cloud infrastructure, wide and local area networks, and on-premises infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Manage Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, databases, and networking components. Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline operations and improve efficiency Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with the infrastructure. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud and network infrastructure in a timely manner Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve infrastructure and servicesExperience and Qualifications Required Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Azure cloud infrastructure Strong knowledge of Azure services, including VMs, App Services, Azure SQL, Storage, and Networking Experience with scripting and automation tools, such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, or TerraformWhy Join Us?
