Internal Regional Sales Manager

Here at RS, we have a brilliant opportunity to join our energised and highly collaborative Internal Sales Team as a Commercial Leader. You will lead a team of up to 14 Internal Account Managers who have their own portfolios aimed at solving customer problems utilising our wide range of products and solutions.

As the leader, you will drive the financial performance of your team, whilst also having a significant influence on our overall profitability and performance across the UK market. The Internal Sales function is an enabler for driving the Value Proposition and Value-Added Solutions and is the human touch that complements our digital business.
A bit about you and what you will enjoy doing to be successful in this role:
1. You will enjoy coaching and leading people; supporting the Internal Account Management community to deliver their aspirations – taking responsibility for finding ways to develop and motivate your talented team.
2. An open leader - you inspire, you are humble and down to earth, someone with a flexible approach who is open to challenge the leadership and also be challenged in return. It’s key that you are not hierarchically minded, as we are proud of being equal players in our sales team – every voice is heard.
3. Working collaboratively across the largest commercial market at RS Group with the Corporate & Field sales teams - supporting the achievement of the UK&I ambition to go from £500m to £1bn by 2027 and deliver the RS Way.
4. Being commercially astute, (thinking Big) identifying large new opportunities for growth and bringing solid commercial propositions to the business whilst being responsible for delivering optimum return on all investments.
5. Developing and maintaining a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities to exceed expectations.
