Key Stage 1 Class Teacher
Location: Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72 7JX
Salary: MPS
Contract: Full Time Fixed Term, initially for 2 terms
Required to start January 2025

The Role
They are now seeking to appoint a dedicated and resilient KS1 teacher to join their team who shares the same nurturing ethos as the rest of the school. The position is fixed term initially due to a potential restructure for September 2025.
Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will initially be in Year 2 and will need to demonstrate that they have:
* Experience of working with children with special educational needs
* Experience of working with children in KS1 or Early Years
* Experience of supporting children to develop early reading skills
* Good knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum
* The ability to enthuse pupils and develop within them a curiosity and love of learning
* The ability to work on their own initiative and as a member of a team
* A positive, energetic and caring personality
* A good sense of humour
