As our Employment Law Advisor, you will play a fundamental role in the successful delivery of our business objectives. Why your role matters Your role will be to provide brilliant service to a portfolio of own clients or as part of an advisory or pyramid team. What you’ll be doing You'll cultivate strong client relationships through offering top-tier, legally sound advice, positioning yourself as their go-to source for employment law matters. Your role extends to assisting senior advisors with proposals and client meetings. You'll engage with employee representatives for early conciliation matters, aiding clients in meeting their business goals while upholding legal standards. Leveraging your expertise, you'll conduct external client training and offer guidance to paralegals and trainees in employment law. About you This role would suit a newly qualified legal professional with a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a trainee/paralegal. Candidates with more than 2 years’ experience delivering EL & ER advice in other legal or HR settings will also be considered. For this role you will need a strong grasp of current employment law, demonstrating proficiency in providing advice in its fundamental aspects. While still enhancing your expertise, you should be adept at operating within a predominantly fixed-fee framework and be capable of efficiently managing priorities and meeting deadlines. You will have a clear understanding of business dynamics, maintain high standards of client support, and show tangible proof of achieving your business goals and ensuring client satisfaction. Where you’ll be working This is a hybrid role (a minimum of two days per week in the Aberdeen office).
