We are looking for an experienced and dedicated professional to take on the role of Assistant Director for Early Help and Safeguarding at Derbyshire County Council. This role is crucial in shaping and delivering services that support children, young people, and their families, ensuring they receive the help they need at the earliest opportunity. You will lead the strategic planning and operational management of Early Help and Safeguarding services, working closely with multi-agency partners.
What You’ll Do:
1. Be responsible for the strategic oversight and delivery of Early Help and Safeguarding services.
2. Ensure that services are delivered efficiently and effectively, meeting statutory requirements and regulatory standards.
3. Manage resources and develop quality assurance initiatives.
4. Provide expert advice to stakeholders.
Your Profile:
You will bring significant senior leadership experience within social care or a related field, with a proven track record of service improvement and strategic planning. You will be skilled in strategic planning, data analysis, and financial management. Your leadership style will be inclusive and democratic, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
Essential Qualifications:
* Professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
* Current registration with Social Work England.
* Commitment to ongoing professional and personal development.
