ABOUT THE ROLE

The role is vital in supporting Hearst’s busy Entertainment team, working across both the Luxury and Women’s Lifestyle brands – these include ELLE, Esquire, Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Red and Prima.
You will support the central Entertainment team with celebrity talent bookings and negotiations across print, digital, and video platforms, as well as for brand events. It will be your job to oversee bookings for talent led video interviews across the brands, keeping the editorial teams aware of upcoming releases and junkets with relevant talent and liaising with the internal video team about these opportunities.
You will also help oversee bookings for Red’s regular feature, My List of Everything, and help conduct video interviews when needed.
You will ensure the Entertainment team are aware of all new entertainment releases with an up-to-date release schedule, and regularly attend launches, screenings and events.
You will support the Group Entertainment Director, Entertainment Editor (Luxury), Entertainment Editor (Women’s Lifestyle) and Entertainment Editor (Special Projects), with production admin on photo shoots, brand projects and with the day to day running of the department.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinating and booking talent for video shoots across the brands
2. Keeping the entertainment release schedule and forward planner up to date to ensure we are aware of all the key releases for our brands.
3. Helping with production admin on cover shoots and video shoots

ABOUT YOU
A great team-player, who loves to collaborate, you will have a strong interest in entertainment and pop culture. Experience working on an entertainment team is a must, whether that’s on a magazine brand, newspaper, podcast, TV or radio show. As a result, you will have a brilliant network of entertainment PRs and know all the big upcoming entertainment releases our team should be covering. You’ll also be super-organised and full of brilliant ideas. A journalist qualification such as an NCTJ diploma would be preferable but is not essential.
