The OFSTED rated 'oustadning' school is a dynamic and inclusive environment in Lichfield, dedicated to supporting students aged 7–19 with a wide range of special educational needs, including autism, social, emotional, and mental health challenges, as well as other associated conditions. Your Role: As an SEN Behaviour Mentor, you will provide 1:1 support during lessons, fostering engagement and helping students navigate challenges. You’ll play a vital role in helping them develop resilience and positive behavior strategies. Your proactive and compassionate approach will empower our students to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Requirements: Experience working with children or young people with SEN. Confidence in managing challenging behavior positively and constructively. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written). A positive, adaptable, and proactive attitude. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
