Beechfield Care Group is currently looking to recruit a Full-time Senior Staff Nurse. The role is based in Beechpark Nursing Home, Dunmurry East, Kildare, R51 PC58.

About the Role: The Senior Nurse will collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Manager to assist in providing a consistently strong standard of care to our residents. The post holder must be enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to resident-focused care. The Senior Nurse will assume responsibility as the acting nurse in charge when needed while coordinating the care and activities of the residents. Quality of care, being mindful of HIQA regulations, is the fundamental aspect of this role. The Senior Nurse will also assume responsibility for mentoring and training junior nurse colleagues.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Quality of Care Responsibilities
2. Day-to-day supervision of the care and nursing staff
3. Co-ordinate resident activities
4. Work within HIQA regulations
5. Function as nurse in charge when required
6. Support training and development of junior colleagues
7. Support for escalation of medication queries
8. Support to the families with any care queries they may have
9. Any other duties as assigned by line manager
Role Requirements:
1. NMBI Registered
