What we expect for You "The Role" - Personal Wedding Manager
- We like our staff to work hard and be committed
- To work at the venue managing 60 weddings per annum
· Be responsible for making initial contact with couples at least 6 months in advance of their wedding and for scheduling their planning meeting appointment for 3-4 months prior to the wedding, diarising with the office, sending confirmation to the couple via email and appropriate documentation to them in advance of this meeting.
· To maintain regular contact with couples and to upsell at every opportunity in line with company set targets.
· To manage own time efficiently between working from home and attending the venue for weddings, events, planning meetings and administration.
· To produce and update accurate paperwork following each planning meeting and to communicate wedding details to the relevant departments in accordance with the required timescales.
· To be responsible for ensuring standards of service are adhered to at all times by the team on wedding and event days, including presentation of staff, presentation of venue, customer service and cleanliness of both back and front of house areas.
· To be responsible for liaising with the Head Chef and Bar and Banqueting Manager to convey specific requirements of the wedding party and to ensure all food allergens are discussed with the Head Chef prior to the wedding day.
· To stay overnight at the venue on wedding days and to remain on hand until the couple leave at 10am the following morning.
· To assist at open days and sales evenings where required.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, experience in customer service and strong administration skills. (be good at makes lists and prioritising)
