Job Description
Main Duties
18. Responsible for the ‘live' operation of the Mitie Team that manages the essential functions of;
19. All common and public areas of the shopping centre
20. The Client emergency and evacuation procedures
21. Officer time and attendance
22. Health, safety & welfare of the Mitie site-based team Incidents that affect The Client and Mitie
23. Business Continuity Planning centred on the continued operation of the control room and shopping centre
24. Client building security and safety
25. Providing a high standard of response to telephone and email enquiries
26. Supervision & support for all Mitie on site personnel
27. Provide timely and effective communication to all within the business including and up to the centre manager and client board level on Incidents that occur on or affect Centre.
28. Update and collate incident information, Daily Reports and Flash reports.
29. Serious incident tracking and management.
30. Absence & lateness reporting.
31. Systems Fault reporting.
32. Incident management and direction of personnel with support of TL/SSM/SOM where and when applicable.
33. Ensure all incidents are logged and managed effectively through to completion.
34. Effectively communicate business issues to the relevant centre departments.
35. Maintain the standards of the Security for access / egress and visitor regulation.
36. To be fully conversant with the methods of working of all equipment and to ensure that it is of a standard and quality commensurate with the requirements of the property.
37. Handle all day-to-day enquiries which arise from whatever source in respect of the daily operation of the security of the centre.
38. To develop and maintain good working relations with applicable local agencies and services.
39. Any other reasonable request from management or client.
40. Entry, completion and checking of all accident and Health and Safety reports relating to AIR2 and Safeguard.
41. Ensure compliance with the CCTV Policy and audit trail.
42. Ensure the issue of keys is in line with procedure and fully auditable

50. Relevant industry experience while not essential is preferred, although it is expected that the candidate will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the unique features of the industry including licensing.

52. Able to communicate effectively and clearly at all levels within the organisation.
53. A comprehensive working knowledge of all processes and procedures.
54. Excellent report-writing and analytical skills with attention to detail.
