We are looking for experienced Senior Business Analysts to join our team and work on an exciting project with our prestigious public sector client. You will be joining a growing profession of 100 Business Analysts (BAs) ranging from apprentices to seasoned professionals, all working together to deliver value for our clients while sharing knowledge and expertise. It is imperative you have strong experience in managing, mentoring, and coaching teams as you will be required to lead teams consisting of junior BAs.
This role benefits from hybrid working; you will be expected to come into our office based in either Telford or Worthing on average two days per week, depending on business requirements. If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks.
Your role
1. Have people management responsibilities and actively support the development and career progression of other BAs.
2. Work with business stakeholders to define their requirements, translate these into user stories, and define acceptance criteria.
3. Be responsible for working with solution architects and other technical subject matter experts to deliver an end-to-end solution that meets clients’ requirements.
4. Play a pivotal role in projects as part of a multi-disciplinary agile scrum team.
5. Be highly customer-focused and responsible for building stakeholder relationships.
6. Lead Business Analysis on complex client and internal projects.
7. Understand industry trends and contribute to proposals that drive innovation to increase client value.
Your skills and experience
1. Supporting and developing other BAs through people management and mentoring.
2. Working on user-centered product or service development projects.
3. Experience in a technical environment, working closely with solution architects.
4. Experience in a multi-disciplinary agile scrum team.
5. Experience in projects within the Public Sector or other legislative-driven sectors.
6. Identifying and developing business opportunities with clients.
7. Familiarity with ALM Tooling.
8. Understanding the architecture and technologies used to deliver a solution.
9. Acting as an intermediary between business requirements and solution design.
10. Facilitating workshops and solving complex problems.
11. Supporting and leading scrum team activities and ceremonies.
12. Building collaborative stakeholder relationships.
BCS Business Analysis certification is desirable.
