Key Responsibilities
As an Electrical Project Manager, you will:
* Take full ownership of multiple contracts, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
* Develop and manage project plans, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
* Lead teams of engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to execute all project deliverables effectively.
* Oversee the installation of electrical systems across a variety of project types, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain excellent quality control.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and contractors, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
* Manage procurement of materials and subcontractor packages, ensuring efficient use of resources.
* Prepare and present progress reports, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed of key milestones and developments.
* Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, driving efficiency and innovation across all project activities.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager overseeing contracts of significant value, including multi-million-pound projects.
* Expertise in the commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.
* Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems and industry standards, including BS7671.
* Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and teams.
* A proactive and solutions-driven mindset.
* Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (degree preferred but not essential).
* Full UK driving license.
