A rare opportunity for a Sales Manager or senior Business Development Manager to work for a company which is part of a worldwide household name in the automotive industry. My client is a byword for quality and expertise in their own sector of the manufacture of components and subsystems for off-highway, construction, agriculture, materials handling, engine power, and generator OEMs.
BASIC SALARY: £60,000 – £70,000

The role involves managing sales and business development at a senior level, leading a team of Account Managers, and developing key OEM accounts in the UK and Europe. Responsibilities include sales planning, reporting, team development, and building trusting relationships with major OEMs, ensuring customer needs are met and opportunities are maximized.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage and develop a team of Account Managers
* Sales planning and performance reporting
* Develop and maintain relationships with major OEMs
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities
* Collaborate with design and product development teams
* Prepare sales forecasts and reports
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
* Proven success in sales management within relevant markets
* Experience with off-highway, construction, agricultural, or related OEMs
* Strong analytical skills and market knowledge
