Responsibilities
As a Custody Product Manager, you are responsible for supporting the Global Custody and Direct Custody Products in region working with all client segments including Asset Owners, Asset Managers, Insurance, and Official Institutions. You will maintain and evolve the product definition, engage with clients, and support client solutioning and product enhancement efforts. You will contribute to the execution of the Custody strategy, andmercial growth and business development efforts. The role requires domain expertise of Global Custody with a focus on the EMEA region, and collaboration with internal stakeholders across Global Delivery, Sales, Client Management and Technology. The role reports to the Head of EMEA Custody Product Management.
The Custody Product Manager will have responsibility for:
1. Working closely with the Head of EMEA Custody Product Management and the VP leads to execute the custody product strategy including delivery of ongoing priorities.
2. Documenting the product definition and standards for Global Custody products and identifying areas of improvement in the core products: working with the wider Product team and Global Delivery to manage operating costs, drive product capability improvements that reduce the cost to serve.
3. Providing custody expertise in the day to day running of the business.
4. Developing our partnership with the Chiefmercial Officer organisation (sales) to drive revenue through direct client engagement; including RFP responses, pitches and providingmercial propositions for new custody deals and rebids.
5. Participate in industry groups across the region to drive market leadership and change.
Skills
6. Subject matter expertise of the Custody family of products; Global Custody, Direct Custody and associated FX and Cash products.
7. Strong team player who isfortable working acrossplex organisations and collaborating with internal and external partners, including senior management.
8. Experience in one or more of: engagement with institutional clients, solutioningplex operating challenges, or translating client requirements into custody capabilities.
9. Working knowledge of technology, market infrastructures and industry partners that support the global custody chain.
10. Effective understanding of operational processes across all aspects of Global Custody
11. Ability to effectivelymunicate at all levels within an organization, in written, verbal and presentations.
12. Ability to execute on product deliverables and strategic vision.
Experience
13. 5+ years' experience in Securities Services/ Global Custody.
14. Prior experience working in Operations and/or technology.
15. Prior experience of successfully performing product manager, product development or operation leadership roles beneficial
