Encourage independence while maintaining residents' dignity, respect, and well-being. Lead shifts, ensuring high standards of care and support for your colleagues. Administer medication accurately and ensure thorough documentation is maintained. Promote best practices in care and address any areas of improvement among team members. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with staff and assist in resolving complaints as directed by the Home Manager. Essential Requirements: Relevant professional qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or higher, Registered Nurse). At least 2 years of experience working in a residential or nursing home setting. Knowledge of person-centred care principles and safeguarding vulnerable adults. Must live within 30 minutes of the care home. Preferred Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a senior care role within a residential or nursing home. At least 1 year of experience caring for individuals with dementia. NVQ Level 4 in Adult Health and Social Care or higher. Familiarity with the National Care Standards Act 2000. Experience in conducting person-centred one-to-one meetings with staff.
