Caretaker
Location: Stocksfield Avenue Primary School, Newcastle Upon Tyne NE5 2DQ
Working Hours: 38.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6:45 am to 3pm
Salary: £12.77 per hour

Your new role
What you’ll do:
* Follow relevant Company procedures relating to security, access, maintenance & repair, and health & safety, including the security of the premises and its contents.
* Arrange for appropriate maintenance of plant and associated equipment.
* Report any faults to the line manager in accordance with agreed procedures.
* Assist in maintaining the premises, undertaking initial checks or inspections, and managing various administrative procedures relating to maintenance activities.
* Take delivery and arrange for the storage of materials, stores, and other goods.
* Carry out porterage duties as required, including setting out furniture and portable sports equipment.
* Undertake emergency cleaning duties as required during hours of occupation.
* Carry out minor or temporary repairs and maintenance tasks, reporting as necessary in accordance with agreed procedures.
* Ensure the delivery of services in accordance with customer service standards, policies, and procedures.
* Monitor and maintain limited delegated budgets including accounting for expenditure.
What you’ll need:
* Awareness of Health & Safety issues and the need for safe methods of working.
* Awareness of COSHH regulations.
The successful candidate will require an Enhanced DBS with Child Barred List Check before starting in the job.
