Job Description
If you are a Teacher or someone who is interested in teaching technology to children, we would love to hear from you! In return, we will offer you fun and rewarding work during the school holidays at one of our tech camps in Canterbury and surrounding areas.
Code Kids is the UK's leading provider of technology and creative design courses for children ages 5 to 13. We run holiday workshops across locations in Kent. We are on a mission to provide affordable world-class technology education to children.
If you've never written code or built robots - don't worry, it's not rocket science. Plus, we will invest in your education and training so that you can lead engaging and fun classes with children. All we ask is that you bring enthusiasm and a desire to learn, and we'll help with the rest! You will work in a team of 2 or more Educators and Camp Leaders.
If you want to continue with us during term-time that's great too. We have lots of opportunities to run 1 to 2 hour after-school classes around Canterbury. When you work and for how long is up to you. We understand the benefit of being flexible.

2. Extreme reliability and attention to safeguarding.
3. Have an Enhanced DBS certificate (we will obtain the certificate on your behalf).

5. Energy and enthusiasm.
6. Strong values and an interest in education.
7. Comfortable in dealing with parents and kids, highly organised and enthusiastic.
8. Keen interest in technology and able to grasp technical concepts quickly to lead sessions.

10. Be flexible and willing to travel.
11. Transport mobility is desirable (driving licence, access to a car) - mileage and travel costs to be reimbursed at Code Kids standard rates.
12. The most important characteristic for us are your strong values, desire to teach, and to ensure children are given a safe and fun learning environment.
