About the role
With an impending brand refresh on the cards, we’re looking for someone to join our marketing team who can inspire, create and deliver on a wide range of marketing activity. We have a strong and established brand presence across the industry, known for our award-winning support services as well as our personable, can-do, approach.
In 2025, our goal is to further strengthen our brand position and increase our thought leadership across financial services.
We’re looking for a Head of Marketing who, under the leadership of our CCO and alongside colleagues and third parties, will create a range of creative campaigns that promote our services and can effectively communicate the value of our unique proposition and how that underpins our company mission.
The role includes:
* Creating and writing content (for e.g. marketing emails, articles and social media) to promote our services and events.
* Leading a team of peers and working with them to support their learning and development.
* Creating, leading and delivering on marketing initiatives – including social media, digital campaigns, exhibition design and other creative projects.
* Delivering, managing and measuring campaigns (of all sizes).
* Leading on the marketing for our large-scale annual conference, Evolution.
* Proofing and copy editing a range of content (such as blogs, whitepapers and articles) from across the company to ensure it matches our tone of voice.
* Confidently working with others - whether that be internal stakeholders (such as our sales team and subject matter experts) or external agencies and suppliers.
* Immersing yourself in the industry and keeping up with changes across finance and other support service providers.
* Regularly monitoring and reporting for the relevant people and teams – to ensure all activity is driving the results we set out.
About you
The perfect candidate for this role is…
* in short, a marketing generalist – someone who can turn their hand to the full marketing mix
* passionate about keeping up with all new marketing trends and not afraid to be bold, and give something new a try
* able to use both the right (creative) and left (data-led) side of the brain
* pro-active in all they do - but can also react quickly to new changes in the industry
* super organised and can multi-task - we’re a growing team with ambitious plans so organisation and meeting deadlines is key
* a professional with excellent written English – in other words, a great communicator who will positively represent the company
* not just computer literate, but confident using new technology systems (brownie points if you already know HubSpot!)
* self-motivated, positive and lives and breathes our company values in their personal life
* flexible and agile in their approach to work - we're fast paced. Like, really fast and are not afraid to try new things.
Proven marketing and management experience is an absolute must. You will have at least 5 years’ experience working in a modern B2B marketing department - experience in financial services is a bonus! The right candidate must have a recognised marketing or business qualification (or at least working towards it). Above all, we love someone with a positive attitude who likes a challenge and isn’t afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in with the team.
