Teachmatch are seeking dedicated and experienced Learning Mentors with expertise in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs across schools within the forest of Dean and South Gloucester. As a Learning Mentor, you will work closely with teachers, students, and other school staff to implement targeted interventions designed to support the emotional and social development of students. Your role will focus on helping students build emotional resilience, improve social skills, and manage their behaviour effectively, ensuring that each child receives the necessary support to thrive academically and personally. Qualifications and Experience: Essential: Proven experience as a Learning Mentor, Teaching Assistant, or in a similar support role in education, with a focus on SEMH or behaviour support. Experience working with children with SEMH needs and a strong understanding of strategies to support emotional and social development.
