Position Summary: Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research position in plant physiology and anatomy funded as a part time (20 hours per week) position for 36 months by the UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship programme. You will be joining the lab of Dr Marjorie Lundgren, part of the Photosynthesis Team at the Lancaster Environment Centre. The position is available to researchers with a PhD in plant sciences or related discipline with a keen interest in photosynthesis and crop improvement. With training and support, you will be responsible for characterising photosynthetic phenotypes of wild, crop, and engineered plant systems using a combination gas exchange, leaf anatomy/ultrastructure, biochemistry, and immunolocalization. You will design and carry out experimental work, analyse data, and present results in publication and at national and international conferences.
