We require a dynamic Business Development Manager to grow our sales capacity and capability. This role calls for a highly proficient technical sales professional who can develop business and relationships with a diverse customer base. The successful candidate will demonstrate sales, account management, business development, and technical skills. The focus is to generate additional revenue through proactive interaction with existing and new customers, backed by an exceptional team of technical staff. Key market sectors include Oil & Gas, Renewables, Marine, Aquaculture, and Defence. The role involves delivering agreed pipeline and sales targets, developing a business development strategy, and providing technical information and advice. The candidate must be able to explain specific services or requirements and supply colleagues and management with relevant updates. They will also deliver presentations, demonstrate products/services, and develop and maintain the CRM system. The ideal candidate is target-oriented, a team player, and has negotiation skills, pipeline development experience, and commercial acumen. Experience in CRM systems and the energy sector is preferred. The role requires a high level of time management and planning skills. The selection process includes a closing date, shortlisting, screening calls, and interviews.
