Job description We are recruiting 2 Domestic Assistants at Caerphilly County Borough Council. Working hours: 16 Hours Contract Type: Permanent/Part Time Location: Castle View Residential Home This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Adult Social services Team. We pay an attractive salary of £12.60 Per Hour, Real Living wage and offer access to training and development opportunities. We are looking for the right person who can join our team that promotes a homely, warm atmosphere where we strive to make a positive difference to peoples lives. You will be required to carry out your duties working in the kitchen. Experience of working in a care environment and knowledge of COSHH, Food Safety Act and Health and Safety would be beneficial although not essential. You must have knowledge of the principles that underpin quality care e.g. dignity, choice etc. adopt a person centred approach and be courteous and responsive to the needs of individuals. For the role, we ask that you have: A courteous, responsive and sensitive attitude to the needs of individuals. Experience of working as part of a team.
