You will be focussed on providing a high-quality resident liaison, community, rehousing and regeneration activities. The role will be responsible for leading on multiple community development activities and projects to support the delivery of our active and future regeneration programmes. You will also support decant planning and deliver temporary re-housing services, including communications and practical re-housing services. As part of this, you will liaise with contractors, project teams, local stakeholders and residents. You will be able to actively problem solve and provide on the ground solutions if required. There will be a specific focus over the next 2 years to deliver resident liaison and temporary re-housing services in Waltham Forest. The role will also provide community development and regeneration activities within our larger regeneration projects (10-20-year programmes) pan London (not exclusive) to support and enhance our communities. You will support relevant statutory formal consultation for regeneration and our growth pipeline opportunities. You will be able to chair difficult meetings and support residents with vulnerabilities, through providing empathetic, clear and accurate oral and written communications. You will ensure are customers' needs are put first, whilst meeting the Group's wider financial and operational requirements. Essential skills & Knowledge Highly developed housing, regeneration and/or community development experience gained in a similar fast-past resident/community-focused environment. A personable individual with proven diplomacy skills, empathetic and patient when dealing with challenging scenarios Practical delivery of supporting residents on regeneration, redevelopment or remediation projects, including aspects such as accessing employment & training, rehousing, removals, licenses, leases and tenancies Available to work occasional evenings or at weekends if required and to visit residents in their own homes. Ability to deal with a wide range of customers and explain redevelopment, regeneration, community development or construction-related matters using language that is easily understood.
