Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join a leading growing company! The Ideal candidate for our client will be motivated, self-Sufficient, and enthusiastic. With a passion for Technology and Sales. You will report into the Chief Operating Officer.
The key responsibilities for the Business Development Manager role are to manage direct sales within a territory and to contribute to ensuring profitability and growth with the Company
Key tasks and duties of the Business Development Manager :-
1. Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales order targets, product led in some areas, circa £1m per annum
2. Lead management – Key Accounts and repeatable business via Account Management plan, new business creation and acting on marketing generated leads within the defined geographical territory
3. Able to attend meetings weekly in Peterborough
4. The Business Development Manager will help Developing and maintaining existing accounts and subsequent self-generation of repeat business.
5. Territory planning in advance of consultative site visits.
6. Preparation and submission of technical quotations to customers and subsequent order paperwork to the office.
7. Liaising with customers to understand their requirements and effective internal communication with our technical department to aid with your quote and presentation.
8. Maintain accurate records of all enquiries, sales and activity reports via the Company’s CRM system.
9. Monthly and quarterly forecasting.
10. Weekly and monthly reporting of sales, KPIs and activity

11. Excellent track record of achievement in sales roles within the engineering/ technical or mechanical industry.
12. Proven ability with consultative selling in a B2B environment.
13. Strong technical aptitude and an interest in mechanical products.
14. Extensive experience in all aspects of customer relationship management.
15. Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work to meet targets.
16. The Business Development Manager will be professional in presentation style.
17. Friendly, helpful nature focused on relationship building.
18. Good communication and confident in speaking to customers both over the phone and face-to-face.
19. Self-motivated with the ability to close sales.
20. Team player.
21. Computer literate
This is a full-time permanent position as a Business Development Manager offering an annual salary of up to £30,000 – £35,000pa.
