Job Description We are currently seeking hardworking, resourceful candidates to join our dynamic team at our Head office in Yateley, Hampshire as an Electrical Apprentice. The course on offer is City and Guilds Electrotech apprenticeship qualification (5357-23) that is being carried out at Farnborough College of Technology / Aldershot College from September 2025 as a day release. Chance to learn the production of PLC software Chance to learn the production of HMI / SCADA software Site installation and commissioning Customer facing position Whilst the majority of the work will be within standard working hours this operational role requires you to be flexible and can occasionally have a need to travel to sites which might include an overnight stay. You will need: The successful candidate will have a strong interest in Electrical Engineering or ideally some practical experience. A good understanding of electrical diagrams for control panel wiring or electrical installation would also be beneficial. The role requires a self-motivated, practical problem solver with good communication skills. Ideally the candidate will need to have a full UK licence or be learning to drive due to the nature of the site-based work. Other Desirable Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge Previous experience in a service & support, electrical installation or maintenance role or a strong interest in a career in electrical engineering Electrical design including EPlan or equivalent would be advantageous. Control Panel design, manufacture or electrical installation skills. Experience of equipment installation and commissioning.
