As a Quality Assurance Business Partner, you will support us to provide an outstanding level of service to our teams, enabling us to provide person-centred care & support to all of the people who use our services. We are looking for candidates with a 'Can do' attitude, who have vast experience within the health and social care sector, including experience as a Registered Manager. Additionally, experience or awareness of Health & Social Care regulation and inspection frameworks is essential, along with a keen interest in driving up quality and promoting innovation within our services.

The Role:
As a Quality Assurance Business Partner, you’ll work in partnership with Regional Managers to drive all our services towards 'Outstanding' quality through ongoing analysis and planned service reviews. You will report on service compliance and best practices, supporting our services to achieve ‘Outstanding’ regulatory ratings. We seek candidates with strong coaching abilities and excellent communication skills to collaborate with various levels, including Regional, Area, and Service Managers. Detail-oriented and resilient, you thrive under pressure and are comfortable with change, focused on delivering high-quality services to the people we support.
For this demanding but rewarding role, you must be prepared to travel across the designated region/portfolio of services and to services in other regions when required.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Provide regular timely oversight and analysis of quality within all services across your designated portfolio, assessing and identifying risks, and developing agreed priorities and plans.
2. Produce accurate, evidence-based reports outlining levels of compliance and key priority areas for managers following quality assurance visits.
3. Provide practical assistance to improve quality in visited areas and in your areas of expertise.
4. Collaborate with Regional Managers to devise updated ways of working to improve quality.
5. Gather, evaluate, and analyse data relating to quality measures using Datix and other sources to enhance quality.
6. Carry out formal investigations in accordance with Brainkind’s Complaints or Whistleblowing policies as requested.
7. Provide advice on relevant Health & Social Care legislation and good practices to Service Managers.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
1. Extensive experience and/or a qualification in a quality improvement related field or equivalent skills.
2. Completed the Registered Managers Award (Level 4).
3. Educated to level 5 NVQ or equivalent in a Health & Social-care related field.
4. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management or equivalent management experience including quality assurance/improvement.
5. Health & Social Care - Professional qualification in Nursing/Social Work or allied field.
6. In-depth knowledge of statutory requirements for the Health & Social Care sector.
7. Ability to analyse complex data and investigate problems to develop solutions.
8. Experience as a Registered Care Home Manager with one of the UK regulators (CQC/CIW/CIS/HIS).
9. Experience of using quality measures and making improvements based on such measures.
