Position: Bank Registered Crisis Care Practitioner (Band 6)
Location: City, County South, Mansfield and Ashfield
Department: Flexible services (Bank) – Community
Pay Rate per Hour: Basic day rate £19.96 (inclusive of holiday pay)
Overview: We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable Registered Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, and Learning Disability Nurses to join the Trust Bank providing support to the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team. This role requires a clinician with specialist skills to assess patients’ needs, analyze, and develop treatment plans within a multidisciplinary framework.
Responsibilities:
1. Answering 111 telephone calls and assisting with queries/concerns.
2. Signposting to relevant authorities and problem-solving.
3. Shift leading and conducting assessments.
4. Working with a team of Psychiatrists, Nurses, and Support Workers to provide rapid response for adults experiencing an acute psychiatric crisis.
5. Gatekeeping inpatient beds and providing care in the least restrictive environment.
Qualifications:
1. Must be an RMN or OT with current registration.
2. Substantial post-registration experience in acute healthcare/community settings.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
5. High functioning in risk management and problem-solving.

1. A full UK driving license and vehicle for business use are required; reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
2. The role is subject to DBS checks, reference checks, completion of mandatory training, and 5 shadow shifts.
3. This post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled Worker visa.
