The role will involve both Bid Writing and Management, and would suit either an experienced Bid Manager or a Bid Writer who is looking to progress into a management position.

As the Bid Manager, you will be responsible for managing the production of all bid documentation to secure new and future business for the company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Managing the production of all company submissions including tender quality proposals, pre-qualification proposals, expression of interest proposals and customer information documents.
2. Support the procurement process by assisting as required with reality checks, interviews, presentations, and provision of market intelligence.
3. Develop a bid strategy to achieve an excellent success rate for company bids by identifying winning themes.
4. Gather and develop information relating to specific tenders, projects of interest, long-term opportunities and market procurement developments.
5. Identify and suggest actions relating to new procurement and delivery methods.
6. Set up/maintain a best practice library of company submissions, competitor information, performance case studies, procurement/market developments/success/conversion rates.
7. Provide information as required to the Client's procurement knowledge centre.
8. Provide efficient feedback to the Business Development and Marketing Manager as required.
The successful candidate must have the ability to structure and write bid responses, writing structured answers to questions and coordinate the bid process.
