We are looking for a Methods Engineer to support the installation of Nuclear Steam Supply System (NSSS) equipment at Hinkley Point C (HPC), UK. This role is part of a high-profile nuclear construction project and requires strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills to support site activities. Key Responsibilities: Technical Support & Documentation Review and validate installation procedures. Train the supervision team on procedure implementation. Identify and manage interfaces with civil works, piping, electrical, and commissioning teams. Installation & Quality Control Support the Project Manager in defining complex installation sequences. Ensure compliance with HSE and nuclear safety standards during work preparation. Provide technical expertise on specific topics (e.g., heat treatments, grinding, routing, site facilities). Coordination & Continuous Improvement Gather lessons learned from previous projects to enhance installation performance. Validate and communicate weekly progress reports (EM4 reporting). Monitor and manage contract deviations related to the NSSS scope. Ideal Profile: ✅ Experience : At least 8 years in construction site methods within the nuclear, oil & gas, or highly regulated industries. ✅ Strong technical expertise : Quality control, site installation, nuclear safety culture, and documentation management. ✅ Project Coordination : Ability to manage contractors and liaise with stakeholders. ✅ Problem-Solving & Leadership : Ability to identify risks, propose solutions, and ensure efficient site execution. Preferred Qualifications : Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). Chartered Engineer accreditation is a plus. Knowledge of PWR design, RCC-M codes, and CDM regulations is advantageous.
