Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist or Dental Therapist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. In your role you will be responsible for performing dental hygiene therapy, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dentist in various procedures. You will have the assistance of a dental nurse. Experience in GBT and the EMS system will be necessary. Your expertise in anatomy and medical imaging will be essential in ensuring the highest standard of care for our patients.

The practice has been running for over thirty years and has been solely private for the past twenty years. We provide implants, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry together with routine general dentistry. We share a minimally invasive approach to our care and are passionate about educating and supporting patients to improve their oral health.

Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough dental hygiene therapy and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
* Take and interpret medical imaging, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
* Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments and observations.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice.
* Stay updated with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Skills
* Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health.
* Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, including X-ray interpretation.
* Familiarity with the iTero scanner is advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with the dental team.
* Attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage patient records accurately.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of patient care.

Pay: £28.00-£35.00 per hour
