4J Studios Ltd, best known in recent years for developing the global phenomenon Minecraft for Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo consoles – the team is now immersed in the creation of brand new games for everyone to enjoy.
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this is a fantastic opportunity for a standalone Human Resource Manager to join the team at 4J Studios. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the HR function from recruitment and employee relations to policy development and employee engagement.
Responsibilities:
The role will be varied and includes but is not limited to:
* Ensure HR policies and procedures are effectively implemented, up-to-date, and compliant with current legal requirements.
* Manage employee relations and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Oversee the entire recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding.
* Assist managers with performance management and resolving team issues.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
* Coordinate staff training and development programs.
* Prepare and analyse monthly key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Maintain and continuously improve the Staff Handbook.
* Review and maintain employee contracts.
* Ensure the annual appraisal process is efficient, timely, and consistent across the business.
* Ensure all HR-related paperwork is properly maintained.
* Administer company benefits and related inquiries.
* Work to continually improve employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture in conjunction with colleagues.
* Manage and improve HR Systems and data reporting.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Excellent knowledge of UK legislation, ideally level 7 CIPD qualified.
* Proven experience as an HR Manager.
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR practices.
* Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
* Excellent communication and people skills.
* Cultural Awareness, promoting diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
Eligibility Requirements:
* Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
* Must be willing to work onsite in Dundee, Scotland.
