We divide spaces by designing and manufacturing internal glazed and solid partitions with integrated door sets.
We are looking for an experienced Project Specification Manager to join the team.
The Project Specification Manager is responsible for leading and developing their specification approach in the Southern Region (Predominantly London) by creating, managing, and developing project specifications with architects and contractors. The PSM will work on jobs from the tender process through to the contract award stage
Responsibilities
Pro-actively gain appointments with Architects and Specifiers to present Komfort’s products and services
Create, manage, and develop project specifications with architects (RIBA Stage 2+3) following through the tender process up to contract award stage and handover to commercial team.
Position the product & brand selection accordingly with Architects and Specifiers and promote the Groups products and services with confidence and commitment.
Respond to all incoming architect enquiries in a quick and efficient manner.
Build and maintain relationships with the key stakeholders (internal & external).
Develop and manage client “Key & Target” accounts.
Ensure that all administration tasks are carried out in a timely, accurate and legible manner and internal databases are updated
Ensure knowledge and awareness of individual roles and responsibilities under the Company’s quality, health and safety and environmental management systems.
Support local regional commercial teams and provide specification support on Stage 4 bid teams to influence new business and secure projects.
Spearhead the product innovation required to deliver bespoke direct solutions
Maintain knowledge of competitor products
Use NBS Chorus to its full capability and ensure the Komfort ‘Best Practice’ approach is rolled out
Ensure client satisfaction to ensure long term client relationships
Complete CPD’s and follow up all specification leads
Arrange and attend social events; ensuring Komfort is represented in a professional manner
Ensure knowledge and understanding of the Company’s policies and procedures in relation to confidentiality and data protection legislation, reporting any concerns to an appropriate person.
The ideal candidate will be:
Specification sales experience
Knowledge of partitioning or technical interiors products
Understands Construction build method and process (RIBA, RICS, FIS BR etc)
Experience of managing budgets and plans
Well organised and self-motivated
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Excellent negotiating skills with strong business acumen
Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
