What You'll Be Doing
As the Team Leader, you will lead the Employer Onboarding Team in all aspects of onboarding industry employers into the portable long service leave scheme. You will engage with decision-makers and key operational contacts of industry employers that are required to join the scheme.
You Will
* Develop compliance plans and gain commitment from industry employers, securing internal approvals and ensuring delivery of those agreed plans.
* Oversee the development of seamless processes, documents and templates associated with onboarding activities to establish foundations for long-term compliance from an employer’s entry to the scheme.
* Lead decision-making and processes associated with appealable matters such as historic debt and submission of data, payment plans, compliance deeds, and the waiving of penalties associated with non-compliance.
* Manage the prioritisation and resourcing of employer onboarding, ensuring that SLAs are agreed and met by both the employer and Coal LSL.
* Develop relevant KPIs and inform the business regarding employer onboarding and non-compliance.
* Lead the development of procedures, processes, and quality standards to enable the Team to deliver on agreed outcomes.
* Guide, mentor and manage team members to maximise their contribution and deliver consistent standards and outcomes.
* Educate industry employers to better understand their legislative requirements and the ramifications for non-compliance.
* Lead the Team through a transformation program, including changes to core functions, enhanced automation, and online servicing.
This role is internally known as Employer Onboarding Lead. The title has been changed for advertising purposes only.
This is a permanent role based in Newcastle.

What You'll Bring
To be successful in the role of Employer Onboarding Lead, you will have extensive experience in a similar role within relationship management, regulatory operations or a highly regulated environment. You will be a natural leader skilled in coaching and motivating a high performing team toward common goals.
Your Background Will Demonstrate Your
* Self-leadership and business acumen, including an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and responsible handling of information (corporate and personal).
* Highly developed influencing and relationship management skills.
* Outstanding interpersonal skills including the ability to build and maintain complex internal and external relationships.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* Capacity to understand financial concepts and the ability to establish and report against financial KPIs.
* Exemplary problem-solving skills.
You will have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Corporate Governance, or equivalent industry experience.
