We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join us as an Assistant Homes Manager at our Children's Home based in Spalding. About the Role
This role reports to the Homes Manager and deputises in their absence. This includes making executive decisions to ensure the safe running of the home and the services provided.
We are looking for an Assistant Manager who:
* Has experience of working with children with emotional or behaviour challenges and understands their needs
* Is supportive and passionate about developing people and the home
* Is child-focussed, we put our children first
* Is compassionate, but firm and hugely kind
* Has skills in quality assurance
* Has the energy and motivation to innovate and inspire others
* Has experience of multi-agency working
* Is flexible, creative and can adapt to the needs of the home
* Is an experienced leader
* Is willing to work towards a QCF Level 5 qualification or equivalent
Working hours for the role are predominantly Monday to Friday between 9.00am - 5.00pm. Assistant Homes Managers are also required to work flexibly and provide shift cover including earlies, lates and nights, bank holidays, sleep-ins and weekends.

Albion Street loves and cares for up to 6 children between the ages of 8 years and 17 years, with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Our children have experienced trauma and some tricky times in their life and so we support them with a therapeutic approach, PACE and two-handed parenting, that will help them to thrive and be the best they can possibly be. Our children are very much loved and nurtured, and hugs and genuine care is what they need and what they get!
