A leading food business in the Chester area is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Planner to plan and forecast demand to ensure optimum product availability in line with customer requirements. The company are a winner of multiple awards for their products and service and have won awards in recognition of the way the treat their employees. They operate hybrid working, with the job holder required in their vibrant and modern offices 3 days per week.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, this will be a high-profile role where you will be responsible for the planning and forecasting of stock inventory levels via the analysis of historical sales data, taking into account seasonality and promotional plans. You will ensure stock levels are maintained at their optimum levels and you will work closely with the Buying and Logistics to monitor customer demand.
About the Person
To be considered for this role, you will need to have experience in a supply chain environment within the retail, wholesale or FMCG industry. You will have a proven track record of success in supply chain analysis, be good at building inter-departmental relationships and have the ability to influence at all levels. This will be underpinned by your strong excel skills and your excellent organisational and planning ability.
