Please see below for detailed job description of the role Main duties of the job An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Band 6 team on The Teenage Young Adult (TYA) Unit. The post will offer broad experience in the care of in-patients and out-patients in the management of the full range of malignancies observed in the TYA population including acute leukaemia's, lymphomas, sarcomas, germ-cell tumours, brain tumour and others that occur less commonly. In addition the post holder will be involved in the supervised delivery of high-dose chemotherapy with stem cell rescue and a range of clinical trials. They will carry out band 6 responsibilities, for example assisting the ward manager to help facilitate the running of the unit and shift leading to ensure patient receive high quality compassionate care.
