Job Details
1. Role: Governance and Risk Manager (Hybrid)
2. Format: 12 month fixed term contract
3. Salary: £62,000
4. Hybrid: 2 days in the office, 3 days from home (+ Pilot below)
5. Pilot: 35 hour week (Fridays 9am - 1pm as a reduced hour policy the organization is piloting)
6. Offices: Buckinghamshire
7. Experience: Housing Governance experience is essential.

Job Overview - Governance and Risk Manager (Hybrid)
1. Lead preparation for forthcoming RSH Inspection under the guidance of the Head of Governance, ensuring preparedness to achieve G1, V1, C1 assessment.
2. Work closely with Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the Board, and Representative Team to ensure all important documentation, policies, and procedures are reviewed and prepared.
3. Ensure quick access to essential documents and remedy any potential issues before an inspection.
4. Lead documentation of compliance with consumer and economic standards.
5. Prepare assurance documentation across the organization for inspection.
6. Provide advice and guidance on housing strategies, policies, and projects related to RSH Consumer and Economic Standards and Housing Ombudsman Service (HoS).
7. Review risk policy framework and lead risk appetite and tolerance assessments with the Board.
What We Need You To Do - Governance and Risk Manager (Hybrid)
1. Advise the Board and ELT/SLT on RSH Inspection preparation.
2. Lead and advise on the RSH Inspection compliance framework.
3. Oversee and advise on policy compliance with relevant regulations from regulatory bodies such as HoS and RSH.
4. Stay updated on regulatory and legislative changes impacting the business.
5. Collaborate with senior stakeholders on initiatives to improve compliance with regulatory obligations.
6. Report on external benchmarking data to enhance policies, strategies, and service delivery.
