The Role At Ravensbourne we are looking for a Studio Assistant to join our specialist team within Digital Film Production. You will support the use and management of our production spaces and provide project management support for student projects. Our Studio Assistants work collaboratively with teaching staff in film and also on other courses within the Media, Film and TV Department. You will also support delivery of course-specific projects including the annual graduation screenings, industry training events, trips and visits. Studio Assistants are a vital part of the student experience and the life of the wider Department. We are looking for Experience of film/TV production projects in an educational or related context ideally within the film and/or television sector. Good working knowledge of Health and Safety practice on location and on set in film/TV production projects. Experience in production design and set-craft will be an advantage. Knowledge and experience of project delivery will be a strong asset. About You You have: A knowledge of and enthusiasm for filmmaking. Experience of project management and delivery. An understanding of health and safety practice on set and on location. An enthusiasm for supporting students pastorally and professionally. An ability to work as part of a small team and, where needed, to work independently. Responsiveness to student needs from a range of backgrounds.
