Data Protection Assistant An opportunity to build your experience in Data Protection A chance to work in a varied role that will be both technical and customer facing Hybrid role with 80% homeworking and 20% in Stratford-upon-Avon About the roleWe have an opportunity for Data Protection Assistant to join our DISC Team in the Risk Division. You’ll provide support for risk management across the wider Data Protection, Information Security & Technology, Supplier Assurance, Business Continuity and Group Insurances (DISC) team. You’ll be part of a high performing team of risk experts who ensure that we are doing the right things in order to protect our information and that of our customers, as well as the systems that process it. They also ensure that we can respond to incidents when things go wrong, so that we continue to provide great service to our customers. This is a varied role that will be both technical and customer facing. You’ll be supporting NFU Mutual to meet its obligations relation to Data Subject Rights requests by analysing, collating, and redacting person data, ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory best practice. This means you will need a keen eye for detail but also excellent communication skills to engage with senior leaders in departments outside of your own team. You’ll also assess the impact of potential data and security breaches; and assist in the monitoring management information on risks and issues for all areas of NFU Mutual.With our training you’ll build your knowledge around Risk and data protection, which could develop into further long-term career opportunities within the business.About youYou’ll have an analytical mind and be confident in delivering exceptional support services to senior stakeholders. You’ll be proactive, balancing day to day regulatory tasks and using your eye for detail to maintain quality.
