Job Description
* Establish and confirm project objectives, deliverables, timelines, quality standards, and budget parameters to align with business needs and expectations.
* Create and implement the project framework, including defining roles and assembling teams to support successful and timely delivery.
* Coordinate, oversee, and provide progress updates on project activities, ensuring alignment with scope while maintaining robust change management practices.
* Ensure adherence to established project methodologies and governance standards.
* Proactively identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues promptly to minimise disruptions.
* Oversee and ensure structured management and reporting throughout all phases of the project, including the management of key stage gates.
* Foster a collaborative environment and show flexibility to adapt beyond traditional project management responsibilities when needed to ensure project success.
The Successful Applicant
A successful IT Project Manager should have:
* Proven experience in IT project management
* Worked within various industries/corporate environments
* Able to work within Waterfall methodology
* Track record of demonstrating versatility and adaptability in handling various responsibilities
* Proven experience in effectively engaging and collaborating with senior stakeholders
* Capable of proposing forward-thinking solutions
