JoinTeamEliot Main duties of the job Responsible for ensuring that all medical learners at the George Eliot Hospital (GEH) NHS Trust have a positive, rewarding and meaningful educational experience. The DME's role is to empower and enable the wider education team, clinical and non-clinical, to support our learners to have the best educational experience possible. Provide leadership, strategic direction and vision for the assurance, management and delivery of postgraduate and undergraduate medical education in GEH. Responsible for the quality of the learning environment provided by the LEP for medical learners defined within their role. The DME works with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and the Chief People Officer (CPO) to develop effective medical workforce plans.
